Andrzej Pluta junior sabon dan wasa ne na Trefl Sopot
21-year-old Andrzej Pluta junior will represent yellow and black in the 2022/2023 games! The basketball player recently played in Enea Abramczyk Astoria Bydgoszcz, where he scored an average of less than 9 points and 3 assists. The player playing in the positions of quarterback and throwing defender thus follows in the footsteps of his father, who was in Sopot in the 2003/2004 season – a tournament that was historic for the club, which ended with the first Polish championship.
Andrzej Pluta junior started his adventure with the orange ball in the junior teams of TKM Włocławek. Then he went to Spain – first to Madrid and then to Seville. It was there that he met Żan Tabaka for the first time, and the Croatian coach gave the then 16-year-old Andrzej a chance to make his ACB debut!
He spent the last season on the Iberian Peninsula in the second-tier Rio Ourense Termal, and returned to Poland before the 2019/2020 games – Anwil Włocławek became his new club. In the “Rottweilers” team he played a total of 23 matches, but he was not the main character of the team and therefore decided to change the environment. However, it was not a long move – the basketball player stayed in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, and his next step in his career was Enea Abramczyk Astoria Bydgoszcz.
In black and red, Andrzej did very well. The quarterback played in all 30 matches, spending an average of nearly 19 minutes on the court. Nine times, the new player of Trefl Sopot ended the match with a double-digit score, and his best match by far was the home competition with Asseco Arka Gdynia, where he scored 31 points. For this performance, Andrzej was awarded the MVP of the 17th week of Energa Basket Liga 2021/2022.
